Mobile App Environmental Social Impact

Catch

Ocean cleanup data collection app empowering communities to track marine debris

Project Overview

A mobile application designed to help coastal communities collect and track ocean cleanup data, making environmental impact measurable and actionable.

Catch was created to bridge the gap between grassroots ocean cleanup efforts and data-driven environmental action. The app enables volunteers to easily log collected debris, track cleanup efforts over time, and contribute to a larger database of ocean pollution patterns.

The Problem

No Data Tracking

Cleanup efforts had no way to measure impact or track progress over time.

Low Engagement

Volunteers couldn't see the collective impact of their individual contributions.

Complex Process

Existing data collection methods were time-consuming and required training.
